Case Study 3: Application Provider

The customer offers complete SaaS application suites for ERP, Human Capital Management and Marketing, plus best-in-class database Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) from data centers throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia.

The requirement:

The customer has a large database including dual byte data across China, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan. Since their solutions cover most of the functional level decision makers of an organisation, they wanted contacts from C Suite Executives to decision makers and practitioners from IT, Finance, Operations, Sales and Marketing, Human Resource and Purchasing/Procurement. They were also looking for data provider who has a wide rage of contact personas especially companies from mid-range to large scale. Furthermore, they needed the data to be translated reliably from English to the applicable native language and also from native language to English.

Our solution:

The customer provided the Targeted Account List for 15 counties in Asia Pacific region and specified the required personas for each account. Our team matched the list against the dataplus accounts and identified 100,000+ contacts. The customer selected an Enterprise Data License with with 10 Login access to all their Stakeholders. The DaaS platform provided full access to firmographic and demographic information together with data in local language for dual-byte countries.

The result:

  • Almost 85% of the given accounts were matched with dataplus’s data.
  • 60% of the accounts with filled with the required personas.
  • Unmatched companies were added to list and dataplus committed to acquire contacts for unmatched accounts with the same cost.
  • Customer benefitted by obtaining the contact at much lower cost due to higher volume.
  • We were able to cover almost 15 countries within a single platform, hence customer do not procure data from multiple vendors.        
  • All their Stakeholders were able to access data in a single platform.
  • Tremendous cost saving in terms of maintaining the data as dataplus license provided quarterly updates.
